1. Out of all the problem-solving projects we did last week, I most enjoyed the "taco bell sushi" one (Rube Goldberg) because I felt as if the opportunities for what we could create were endless. Our challenge was to create a series of machines/steps that would all lead up to a final result. Our group had trouble with where to start but we were pretty proud of what we ended up with. We rolled a tennis ball down a cardboard ramp then made it go over a seesaw to knock another ball down a tube, roll through some paint, and make a streak along a piece of paper.
Two Birds With One Stone
For this project, I decided to accomplish two tasks in one by painting a pumpkin for my project and also using it for the NAHS pumpkin contest. I gave myself a material limitation by only allowing myself to paint on the pumpkin The problem with this was that the paint takes a long time to dry and sometimes chips. However, I will prevail and come out on top. I shall not let this pumpkin get the best of me.
When I'm finished, the pumpkin will be painted to look like a minion from the 'Despicable Me' movies.

I'm excited to see how the rest of it turns out. If I make a whole army of these, I could quite possibly conquer the world.
